I had a great experience with Dave and Dero Roofing. Everyday the guys cleaned up any nails and old tiles that fell on the property. The new roof looks amazing and I’m extremely happy with my new roof.
Dave’s crew showed up on time and worked very hard throughout the entire day-never leaving until at least 7:00pm. Our job was done thoroughly and with great attention to detail. I am glad that I went with Dero roofing. Dave was extremely patient helping me to pick out the right color and style roof for my house. He located several homes on the island that had what I wanted. He then gave me a list so I could go look at them.At the time I had called Dave I had several leaks into my house. One was not related to my roof but he spent a lot of time finding it. He also provided the name of a good gutter company, which I am very satisfied with their work.All in all, it was a good experience. Last fall we developed a huge leak in our dining room just before a major hurricane was scheduled to impact Marco Island. I immediately started calling some well known names in the roofing business to get estimates on a new roof. I also would need an emergency repair done prior to the storm arriving. The estimates were all coming back shockingly high and no one was willing to guarantee the repair could be done before the storm.I called a friend who is a general contractor and he recommended Dave DeRogatis, the owner of DERO Roofing.Problem solved.Within hours of first contacting Dave, he was at my house with a fair and reasonable estimate. He assessed the damage, which was substantial, and promised to have the repair done before the storm was scheduled to arrive 36 hours later.His crew arrived early the next morning and put in a full day getting us dry and secure in time for the storm.Our roof is now complete and it looks great. Through the entire process Dave and his crew were courteous and professional. We purchased our home back in July and needed a new roof. Being new to Marco, I searched local apps and ads and Dero Roofing had glowing reviews. They were all correct. Dave and his team were a refreshing change to typical over-promise, under-deliver contractors we have dealt with on our other homes. From the start Dave's excellent customer focused professional communication impressed us. From tile selection to giving us addresses to view jobs, emails on start times, order updates, to explaining each part of the job, we were always informed. What was most awesome was that Dave sent a photo album of each phase of construction that made us feel like we were standing in the yard watching the work, while being 1,000 miles away. Needed to do a cement tile reroof fast for a short term rental and had a few quotes then I called Dave and he met me on a Saturday afternoon in his showroom. Told him the situation and he gave me a list of houses to look at with stock colors and a professional looking quote considerably less expensive than any other quote. Despite a hurricane and a short deadline he came in on budget and a couple days early. Kept my jobsite clean and organized. Roof looked fantastic. I got a bunch of bids. Fair price, but excellent service from sales through the end of the job. My favorite part was 1) clean worksite the crews were always diligent about having no mess around, and 2) there was a manager/foreman there every day making everything was going well and keeping me updated on what was happening. HIGH recommend.

Smooth from start to finish.I received several bids to have our roof replaced. Dero Roofing was not the least or most expensive. I learned a long time ago that you truly do get what you pay for. It was nice to go into a beautiful showroom (which other companies don’t have) and see all of the different styles and colors of tile. It was an added bonus to look at their large screens with video playing their jobs to get an accurate depiction of their company. I do not know much about roofing, however, my neighbor definitely does. He watched the job from start to finish and said they went above and beyond what many roofing companies do. They are a well oiled machine. I also appreciated Dave giving us addresses to drive by and see what we liked best. Dave informed us every step of the way. His foreman and employees were top notch! They cleaned up at the end of every day. Dave worked with us throughout the process as we were on a strict timeline. He actually completed our job a full week early.My suggestion to anyone reading this would be to stop or not begin calling for other bids.
