Tigertail Beach
This beach is located on Marco Island, with available handicapped beach wheelchairs is available at this site. There are also 226 regular parking spaces and 6 handicapped parking spaces. The beach’ parking has an $8.00 fee and is open from sunrise to sundown. There is Tigertail Beach which provides the public with everything from natural resources to beachside amenities that would make your visit worthwhile and enjoyable.
The beach has a bunch of things such as a bathhouse, five boardwalks leading from the mangrove-lined parking area to the white, and a sandy beach. You may also see Sand Dollar Island as you gaze upon the Gulf of Mexico. A stroll along the beach for shells and other beach items is a classic for this beach.
Keewaydin Island
There is Keewaydin Island which is a barrier island that is located between Naples and Marco Island with nearly eight miles of untouched white sand beach. Although the island is only accessible by boats, it is still highly praised as it is one of the few pet-friendly beaches in the Naples/Marco Island area. There are also several regular sightseeing boat trips that feature stops at the island for beach walking as well as for shelling.
Although they do not offer bathroom facilities due to the pristine, undeveloped nature of the island, there is a “burger barge” which routinely anchors onshore on the east side of the island to serve ice cream, hot dogs, sandwiches, sodas, and beer for people to snack on.
South Marco Beach
The South Marco Beach Access is located on South Collier Boulevard, Marco Island, with 70 parking spaces for $8.00, and the beach comes prepared with restroom access. This beach is one of two public beach access points on Marco Island and out of both of them, this one is less busy. Even if it is less busy the typical Marco Island beach activities such as shelling, beach fishing, or watching dolphins are still available.
Residents’ Beach
This beach is only available if you own improved property or rent annually on Marco Island and is, therefore, closed for visitors. It is located on Marco Island and boasts a magnificent beach. Only members are able to access this beach which has dining at the Paradise Grill with shaded tables, convenient parking, restrooms, showers, picnic chickens with charcoal grills, a playground, and even some family-friendly concert events for everyone to enjoy.
Cape Romano is more of a private beach with vacation rentals in Marco Island for people that prefer lesser crowded beaches. travelers can journey to the southernmost tip of Marco Island to Cape Romano, part of the Ten Thousand Islands preserve, although it is only accessible by boat. Capo Romano is located at the southern end of a large span of the island, which is near the mangrove islets and marshland called the Ten Thousand Islands.
Visitors may enjoy a variety of watersports such as getting jet ski rentals that allow you to tour the waters near Cape Romano at your leisure. Or going to Off the Hook Adventures for a tour that guides the visitors as they go down to the Cape to look for dolphins, do some diving off the boat, and experience first-hand the intricate network of waterways.
